One of the best cricketers the world has ever seen, some say he was THE best. This blonde haired larrikin from Ferntree Gully in Victoria, Australia was a permanent part of the Australian Test cricket team for Years, also part of the Victorian state team, captain coach of the Rajasthan Royals, the winning team in the first year of the Indian Premier League, later playing in England as captain of Hampshire, he also captained Australia on several occasions in One Day Internationals. This leg spin bowler seemed to be able to archive anything with a cricket ball, but is best known for the time he bowled Mike Gatting in the test between Australia and England in 1993. Selected by experts as one of the five Wisden cricketers of the century in 2000, he became the first bowler to take 600 Test wickets.
Known as “ the ball of the century “ during the Test against England in 1993 , Warne bowled Mike Gatting with a unbelievable leg break, the ball was seen around the world and has been watched by millions of viewers and is still viewed by cricket fans.
Never far from the news, Warne has always had a reputation as a ladies man and on numerous occasions has been caught either making lewd text messages or with women in his hotel room.
