S.E.O.

You may have the greatest website in the world, selling the best product in the world, but if it’s not on the first page of search engines, all the money and time you have invested will be wasted. You need to invest in a plan to maximize traffic to your site.

If you want people to find your website via search engines, such as google, yahoo, and msm, your keywords and phrases will determine how well your site does, being on page 10 of a search engine, will not give you the results that you seek and not make you into a internet millionaire.

A very important factor is your domain name. It should be easy to pronounce and easy to spell and also , if possible, say what your website is all about. No numbers or numeric characters are best for the optimum results.

Keyword density is the number of times your keywords appear on each page. Try and keep your keywords to the top of the page and in every other paragraph. Having a high keyword density may result in your site being banned, as it could be considered spamming.

Do not misuse search engine optimization by using mirror sites, invisible text, doorway pages. These forms of seo may give you a quick fix in gaining links, but in the long run it will lead to your site being seen by search engines as detrimental to your ranking.

A new title for each page is a good idea. It attracts visitors and if constructed properly, contains two or three keywords, and it is the first thing people see. Spend a bit of time and think about how you construct each page and how you use keywords.

Website design needs to be suitable for your product or message. Take your time and find the right one, either a template or constructed by a professional, depending on your budget.

Link the pages of your website through a navigation menu, showing all the important pages of your website. This is important, so the search engine spiders can reach all your pages, not just your home page.

Gaining links to your site is very important. The more good links the better, especially ones with a high page rank, six high ranking sites will get you a higher ranking than 100 pr 0 links. The more incoming and the fewer outgoing links the better. Using a paid service to gain links can lead to disaster, as far as search engines are concerned. It will take time , but in the long term it will prove beneficial, by submitting your site manually. Submitting your site to directories will work.

Pay Per Click Advertising

Pay per click or ppc advertising is a simple type advertising in which you pay the bid amount everytime the search engine directs a visitor to your site. The good thing about this type of advertising is that the visitors are interested in your site and therefore are most likely to buy your products.

PPC is simply bidding for a keyword and your company paying the bid amount per visitor. The downside is you are in a bidding war. If you want to stay on top, the more you must pay or bid to stay there. Be aware that the most popular keywords are obviously the keyword everyone wants and can become very expensive. It is good business to know what your return on visitors or conversions is, so you can budget on what you pay per click, in other words it is simply profit divided by visitors.

On of the first things you should do is learn all you can about search engines, how they work and what are the best keywords or phrases to bid on to get the best return on your investment. Very popular keywords can become very expensive.

PPC unlike seo advertising can be up and running very quickly.

Computer Security

The biggest danger of computer security is mainly from computers connected to others on a network. The internet, especially, is responsible for the increase in networking over the past few years. A personal computer content is only vulnerable to a few risks.

The main concerns now are privacy, unauthorized changes and confirmation of claims of authenticity.

Privacy means that your information cannot be accessed by unauthorized parties.

Unauthorized changes changes to your data base and other resources by hackers.

Authenticity, is that a user is who he says he is.

For the everyday internet user, the main concern is privacy. Users seem to give out very private information, such as credit cards, home address, email address and phone numbers, with-out a second thought. Information from these sources can be linked together to create a profile that can be passed on to third parties.

It is extremely important how you give out information, so be very careful and check before you release your private details. Security begins with you.
